This new project is led by married couple, Josh and Lisa Canning, and Michael Dopp. The main focus for them is to offer practical skills and help for those who want to evangelize but don’t know how, or are not very confident in sharing their faith.
They do it in a very open and honest way – Lisa often talks about how she always thought that evangelising was for others, and when she started to understand that it is something that all Christians are called to, she was under confident and lacking in skills.
They hosted a fantastic and inspiring 3-hour ‘virtual summit‘ in April 2020, with some great guest speakers. Highlights were Nicky Gumbel, founder of Alpha, who was enthused by how successful online Alpha has been since the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, and Sherry Weddell, who gave some simple ideas and encouragement for how to evangelise. However, I must say all the speakers were excellent and this would not be a wasted afternoon catching up on their event!
