The Christian Post wrote an article about Francis Chan’s recent video on his ‘Crazy Love’ YouTube channel, which was his message to his former church, sent just as people start to feel the immediate effects of the lockdown.
As this pandemic pushes people into isolation, Chan is encouraging the Church to use this chance to spread love and faith, instead of fear and anxiety. He states that “this is one of the greatest opportunities we’ve ever had as a Church”.
So then, what should we do? What action do we take from this prompt? Chan believes we should stay loving, and remind ourselves that it’s our duty to serve and help those around us that are suffering; we as a church must not ‘lose our peace’ or give in to the panic that the virus is sparking.
