Daily Hope: the free dial-in worship phone line

The Archbishop of Canterbury recently introduced Daily Hope as a free phone line for worship (hymns, prayers, and reflections), and it gained over 6,000 calls within the first 48 hours of launch. The Line is open 24/7 and was created for those who are unable to watch live streams and other live Masses.

It’s a service supported by the Church of England and was intended to bring hope and relief for people who feel isolated from their faith because of the circumstances. The ability to call this line and receive prayers and hymns is much needed, especially for those feeling the loneliness of quarantine.

Update: It’s similar to Dial-a-Mass, which is a phone line for those who wish to listen to Mass but are unable to watch live recordings.
